Kelda Kraft was established in December 2022, in collaboration with Tinfos, and is a technology supplier to the hydropower sector. It originates from the sister company Kelda Dynamics.

Mission

Kelda Kraft empowers small-scale hydropower plants to operate more efficiently and profitably by delivering solutions to digitize and manage operations by ensuring grid stability.

Goal

Our goal is to deliver the best digital solutions globally for optimizing small hydropower plants´ energy output, enabling environmental sustainability and supporting renewable energy adoption.

The company’s area of focus is the development and delivery of new technology to the power sector, with a particular focus on river power and small-scale power.

The purpose of Kelda Kraft is to develop technology that enables better utilization and more efficient and gentle operation of this type of power producers.

Our solution is already in use at Tinfos, as an established player in the industry, with imminent adoption by another major power producer. The operations portal is designed to give power plant operators and owners better insight into the condition and operational status, both for individual power plants and for a combined fleet.

Output Using Our Technology

Our technology will contribute to lower wear and tear and maintenance costs, as well as reduce negative environmental consequences from power plant operation. We have developed a modern web-based operational portal, as an operational support tool for operators of such power plants.

Experienced Crew

Kelda Kraft originates from the sister company Kelda Dynamics, which has 10 years’ experience as a leading technology supplier and developer in pressure-controlled oil drilling. Our joint resources have extensive experience with research-based development of advanced model-based control systems, simulators and cloud-based software.

The Kelda Kraft team draws heavily on expertise from oil and gas sector technology development, which has strong synergy with the work of Kelda Kraft.
